Born in 1951 in Vincennes Indiana, Larry grew up in the small town of Oaktown. He spent his days working in the fields and exploring the farms and rivers of Southwestern Indiana.
Having a strong interest in history and ancient cultures, Larry became an avid Indian relic hunter. He has searched fields and stream beds all over the Midwest and across the country. His knowledge and love of the natural world around us is a driving force in his life and in his art.
Larry is completely self-taught. As a long distance truck driver of 37 years, he honed his unique style during long layovers.
He and his wife, Joyce, now own and operate a custom picture framing and antique business in his historic hometown of Vincennes. They both enjoy traveling to festivals and art shows, selling Larry’s artwork, and meeting people from all walks of life.
